Gulmarg Essential Ski Course : This is the most affordable way to learn skiing from certified professionals in the heart of the Himalayas. Our “Essential Ski Course” is designed for beginners who want to master the slopes without the cost of an all-inclusive package. You handle your stay and food; we provide the world-class instruction, top-tier equipment, and access to the slopes. It’s flexible, affordable, and focused purely on your skiing journey.
Arrive in Gulmarg and check into your self-arranged accommodation. In the evening (around 5 PM), meet your instructor and fellow students at our designated meeting point in the Gulmarg market. You'll have an orientation and be fitted for your ski equipment for the week.
Meet your instructor at the pre-decided time and head to the Baby Slopes. Your first lesson will focus on the fundamentals: balance, posture, basic snowplough, and your first controlled turns.
Today, you'll build on your skills, practicing linking turns and controlling your speed on easy, green slopes. The goal is to move from surviving to skiing, feeling more comfortable and in control with every run.
A milestone day! You will ride the Gondola to the Phase 1 area, which offers stunning panoramic views and long, wide slopes perfect for beginners. You'll practice your skills on new and varied terrain under the watchful eye of your instructor.
This is a full day dedicated to practice and adventure. You'll explore different runs within the Phase 1 area, honing your technique and receiving valuable feedback from your instructor to build your confidence for independent skiing.
Your course officially concludes. After returning your equipment, the day is free for you to depart from Gulmarg at your leisure according to your own travel arrangements.

The price includes 5 days of ski instruction, 5 days of complete ski equipment rental (skis, boots, poles, helmet, goggles), and the necessary ski lift passes for your training areas.
We recommend booking a hotel or guesthouse near the Gulmarg main market or the ski lifts for convenience. There are many options available for every budget. We can provide a list of recommendations upon request.
You will need to arrange your own transport. Taxis are readily available at Srinagar Airport. You can book a one-way or round-trip taxi.
We keep our groups small (max 8-10 students per instructor) to ensure everyone gets personal attention and quality coaching.
